Short duration frames followed by dropped frames

• What are the potential reasons behind such short frames of 1-3ms duration? (see the first row of colored blocks. Green block are roughly of duration 1-3ms)
• Why is the subsequent frame marked as dropped even though it conveniently finished executing before the end of the frame marker giving enough time for the browser to repaint?
