Is there any specific method to hide all the codes of index file from sources in developer console like the screen shot? [added screenshot]

I was just curious to know the mystery behind the hidden or empty index file of any website.I found some websites using this technique. I have attached a screenshot that shows the index file is empty on the sources tab of the developer console of chrome.
