How to convert distance between two addresses without using google map api

I want to embed a distance calculation function in my website, let's say 1st address is New York and second address is London. But the solutions I am getting are related to Google Maps API and that API is not free. Can I get my solution without paying? Is there any solution for this? Kindly if there is any, recommend me...Thanks?
