Can I use Aurelia without node.js ? I already have my .net backend (Restful). I'd like to use serve to serve my Aurelia application?

I'm from .net core / Blazor world. But my actual company is not there. I'd like to propose them (60k employees) Aurelia (well I will when I'm convince, but it seems promising). React is not too bad, but not my cup of tea. Aurelia looks like Blazor (awesome and it will get better as web assembly is more mature so to speak). So, I'l like to try an Aurelia SPA, but I'd like not to use nodejs. I just want to use serve (https://github.com/vercel/serve);
