How to Prevent website from knowing which window/tab is in focus

I attend online classes and there is a website which realizes if you're focusing on the tab. If you minimize the window, or if you are on another tab, or even just resize the window to work on a different tab, the website realizes this and shows as such to the instructor. Any way to prevent websites from knowing this information?
