suppose there are two websites, the first one being a Blogging website and the second being an eCommerce website, they are both collecting cookies for tracking their user activities and each of them want to share the cookies they have collected on a specific user with the other website so that they can recommend relevant content to the user. for example if the user has read about gym equipment on the blogging website, then the eCommerce website uses that data and figures out that they should show more of gym equipment.
what i want to know is what is the best way to transfer the cookies between these two websites? if it is creating a back-end and saving the cookies there, then how do you confirm that which data belongs to which user so that we can show the right recommendation?
