really small CMS only for article writing

I'm looking for really small CMS only to write articles, long time ago was such this CMS but I forgot the name.. In the HTML you could put only (content) code and your website gets the content from the admin panel. I need to do it for my girlfriend's mom (she can't manage website well, and she wants only write articles sometimes) - I made for her HTML, CSS, JS website but making it in to Wordpress I think it would be little bit too complicated and for her to manage her content (She's over 50 years old Japanese woman) It would be nice if somebody could help me :(
