Is it considered a good practice to override HTTP Accept-Language Request Header to send user chosen locale or we should create a custom header?

For implementing feature like i18n from front-end to backend, is it considered a good practice to override Accept-Language Request Header to send user chosen locale or shall I create a custom request header to pass the locale to backend and handle it exclusively there.
