C# - Make a search bar pull search results from a website?

First and foremost - I'm a total newbie, and know extremely little in the way of programming, particularly C# - this is my first mini project.

I'm trying to create a small app that pulls movie ratings for any movie the user searches. Essentially right now I'm trying to get the search bar to act exactly like the IMDb search bar on the website, and search through the database for whatever movie the user inputs. Then it will display the rating of said movie in a box below.

The problem is I'm totally new to this an have no idea how to get the search bar to pull the information from IMDb's website/database.

Can anyone provide any insight on this?
