Best backend for website configs, parameters and toogle switches [closed]

Im researching for the best architecture solution for a selfservice website that actually use a CMS (drupal) for configurations storage, CMSs are good solutions but we need to improve performance making a light backend insead. Configurations we use are: labels, api keys, toogle switches to enable/disable options, parameters. Our current CMS gets customer data from apis and enrich it with these configured data for web client consumption (angular/ionic). One option is to create a configurations framework with laravel or other tool, but im looking for options ready to use.
