How to edit svg file with CSS that makes by inkscape?

I made an icon using Inkscape. And I save the file as SVG. I wanna make the SVG file (my icon that was made) like an icon on Fontawesome, that can be able to set the SVG width, height, color fill, etc from CSS.

What I have to do? Help me, please! Thank's!
