What do seniors expect from a junior and am I progressing enough to be a good developer

So I may just being paranoid here. I started my first developer job 4 months ago, I love the work, the company and all the developers I work with there so supportive and willing to help. My questions is in the title. I had my 3 month review and the IT director he said he felt I wasn't asking enough questions and there for felt I wasn't learning enough. Every project I get I'm not super quick with but I'm going at a good pace, but it takes longer cause the seniors are always refactoring my code and I find that embarrassing that they have to do that. My code always works, but they always find a way to refactor it or a way to test that I didn't think of and find a bug. After my my review I starting ask a mass amount of questions and there still refactoring my code and because of this I feel like il never hit the 6 month probation. I started this job knowing alot of C#, html, javascript etc... nothing on MVC, entity or LINQ. I know a lot more about all this since being there and using it in my everyday code. But I just want to know from some fellow seniors what they expect from juniors, should you be refactoring my code so much after 4 months at what level do you expect to see a junior after 6 months. Thank you
