Show user home adress on map

We have website where registered users put their home address into database. We basically want to use this address to place a map marker on a map which will be available within popup by clicking a link of user profile.

What tools should we use to achieve that?

First of all I thought of google maps and geocoding service but we want to create maps automatically - prerender it and make it available via popup.

Looking for any help how to do that :)
