My company gave me access to the Pluralsight website. And this is the main source for video courses. Other sources I can only use in the text version.
The first topic to learn is Typescript. The main condition for the search course: the initial level. I found two suitable courses "TypeScript Fundamentals" (Updated 25 Mar 2016; Typescript 1.8) and "Getting Started with TypeScript" (Updated May 18, 2017; Typescript 2.2). The first has significantly more positive reviews. The current version of Typescript is 3.4. I saw a rather large list of changes from Typescript version 1.8 to version 3.4. I am afraid that many things that I learn from the course will actually be outdated and I will not be able to use it in a real project.
So my question is how relevant will my knowledge of Typescript 1.8 be now? Or are the differences not really so significant, and this knowledge would be enough for me to get a basic understanding?
