How does someone transition into OOP software developer, after finishing coding Bootcamp that only does JavaScript and introductory python

Alright so im going to attend 16 week coding Bootcamp called Digital crafts in Houston starting Aug 28th. The meat of it is going to be over full stack web development, introductory Python.

I learned HTML, CSS, mild JS,mild Python, mild AWS from Udemy, websites,etc since October or so and decided to attend Bootcamp to transition into first job.

However I don't really LIKE web development . I mean understand that one needs to know it as a software developer if they're a beginner.

Im interested in DESKTOP APPLICATIONS/A.I. for example OVER WEB/MOBILE APPLICATIONS

How do one transition into a PYTHON/OOP developer from web developer coming from a coding Bootcamp that is just web development?

Id like to know step by step. What im thinking is:

Learning Python for example and including on GitHub portfolio than apply to python Developer jobs?
