Why the Web doesn't progress? After the decades of "development" it's obvious that the Web doesn't progress. We are stuck with HTML CSS JavaScript and trying to fix it with the zoo of different instruments, languages, platforms on the server side where we have max freedom. We had applets, flash and other differnt stuff that couldn't compete with HTML+CSS+JavaScript and just died (or almost died). Why it happens? What or who causes it? I can't find any reason for that in 2018. For example in the somehow related area (cpu production): physical limitations prevent making cpus faster. It's ok. They need to find a new way or even conception. What's wrong with the Web? Aren't we absolutely free to make a good Web instead this old piece of legacy?
