semantic web in iot domain

I'm trying to build a semantic web of things app, I honestly don't know where to start, what tools and hardware to choose knowing that I've never used semantic web APIs and when I looked for tools that combine the two of them (iot and semantic web) I didn't find anything that helps, So any idea or hints where to start will be welcomed
