Is it possible to Denial of Service Attack on Server Sent Events?

I know this may be a stupid question, but I just got curious if it's ever possible to DOS attack an SSE service.

Theoretically it's only the server that can send messages so I can't think of an immediate hack but was curious if I'm missing something.
