IIS web integrated page authentication

I have a basic HTML site running atop IIS 10 on which I have enabled basic auth. This works fine but I would like to remove the browser credentials prompt in place of a user name and password prompt within the main page. Is this something I can achieve by tweaking the index page, etc?
