Getting live flight detail + booking

Hie,

Altho, the question is quite broad, may I just know or if someone has done this - Can we query live flight details using API on our app and display the results. I know Skyscanner provides API for live flight details and price, but I would like to know is there a way to get these data and book via our app. Just need a starting point. I dont need a long lengthy answer for that just want a starting point for getting flight details and booking it using our own app.
