This may get deleted for not being a useful question but can anyone point me in the direction of a script/function for outputting page activity similar to hotel booking sites or eBay. By that I refer to the often displayed info such as : "15 people have viewed this date/product/thing in the last 24hrs" or "one person has booked/purchased this thing in the past hour".
I ask this as I haven't really had much luck looking else where and I'm not too sure on what I'm really looking for, in the sense that would I be capturing the data via cookies or a php function based on session data stored in the database ?
Again, apologies if this is not of any particular benefit to the site
