Can I use grafana to display information of fields of database or just to monitorize a server?

I've been investigating and I can't found what I'm looking for.

Can I use grafana to display information of fields of database or just to monitorize a server?

I mean, I need to take information of mysql to do some graphics in a web-server, can I do that with Grafana? or I need to use another dashboard builder?
