Web development with database

I am trying to know a recommended way to develop a service-based website using a methodology.

I know of the waterfall methodology but I am a bit confuse. Any help would be appreciated.

The website will also have a database.

According to the SDLC steps:

1.Info gathering
2: Planning
3: Design
4: Development
5: Implementation
6: Maintenance

I read about these steps and nowhere they talk about the Database Life Cycle(DBLC)

The DBLC inlcudes the following steps:
1. DB Initial Study
2. Db Design
3. Implementation and Loading
4. Testing and evaluation
5. Operation
6. Maintenance

I want to build a dynamic app connected to a database with a UI.

I am alone building the website, do I use the two methods together or do I include SDLC in the Design of SDLC?
