How should I implement a drag and drop web application?

I'm almost new in web programming and right now I'm into a kind of drag and drop game. I have some draggable elements that I have to drop on a grid area and also know the position of each element in that area. I've looked for ways to achieve that but I haven't found anything conclusive. Anyways, right now I'm trying to do it with Konva but I'm not sure if it's the best way to do it. Could you help me?
