Web application with gesture recognition & video capture in browser

I need to write an application that will capture video stream from phone camera & and recognize gestures i.e. person will stand in front of the camera and wave hand (he/she will wear glove to make it simplier to recognize the gesture). What technologies would you recommend? Ah, also I need to paint the stream in the browser.
