Webserver with user-specific content

I would like to develop a web application with the following properties: * when browsing the website, it requires username/password to log in * once logged-in, user see a web page that is being updated from time to time by the web server * User-dependent web content is generated by the web server * The web server receives updates from local host running in my home and refreshes the content displayed to user * I prefer to host the web server on Azure * The communication web server <> home should be in TCP, preferable using SSL * web server written in c# or python

Can you refer me to code examples ? open source ?
