How to extract specific informations from a Web API in C#

So I'm making a little WindowsForm C# program that allow me to see in real time the price of - here Ethereum Classic - on Kraken.com. I found that they have APIs but I don't know how to extract informations from it. I need the first number after the a : http://ift.tt/2sIz79t I also want to make it refresh like each 1 second and only show 2 decimals. I will then make a calculation to know what my Wallet is worth, if I have like 1.45 ETC (Ethereum Classic), I will make 1.45*[the actual price], but this I know I can do. My only problem is knowing how to extact informations from the API.
