How do I manage my "how to" website without using a CMS?

I got this problem. I write my own pages without using any CMS. It's a blog on "how to". I realise that each time I post a new page, I will have to edit almost all the others and that seems like a lot of work. I have a navigation bar but it doesn't solve the problem since I want to have a container for recent post, " readers also read" and if possible a list of popular post.

I'd really love to continue writing my own pages but with that challenge, I'm tempted to consider a CMS or Google blog. Any ideas?
