I've got someting to ask about starting own project

Maybe this is wrong part of stackexchange but I got no idea where to ask.

I was wondering if is it possible or is it good idea to make web-site video download link's scramble tool. Where you get list of videos and choose what video you want to download or even download all, and videos would be sorted by category or by names etc. "Friends" (American television sitcom).
