Retrieve files from filesystem Wordpress/PHP

I have several files in my filesystem that I'd like to retrieve and display in a webpage.

Is there a plugin in Wordpress that would allow me to retrieve and display the files in the form of a list (to view) from a certain directory?

Or is there a why in PHP that I would be able to do this?
