How to read from and write to a website (LinkedIn)

I am tasked with going through a list of 1000 or so contacts and checking if they are still at the archived company or if they have a new employer. In order to save time, I need to be able to write keywords into LinkedIn's search option and then read and store the information into an array of strings that can be used to update an excel file.
