block few resources of a web application

I have 2 web apps https://myhost:myport/Aweb and https://myhost:myport/Bweb running fine on myhost. I have every specific requirement that I want to block one of the webapp say Aweb. Aweb and Bweb share resources which are deployed as on same host as https://myhost:myport/myresources. so is it possible to block Aweb without affecting Bweb. to try to out I just added https://myhost:myport/Aweb in restrticted site in my browser. Bweb home page gets loaded but I m not able to login, seems its not working after I blocked Aweb.
