Is there a plan by Google to make AngularJS 1.x an open source git project? It would be a shame to let such a great web framework die. Yes, Angular 2/4 is here, but it introduces its own issues. Angular 1.x seems like the perfect balance between pure javascript, DOM, and scalability.
