Web searching for a large number of articles/pdfs

I'm wondering if theres anything I can do more than just google search, google scholar, university library search If there's some way I could incorporate the unix command line that would be good I'm looking for about 150 articles and I'm wondering what kind of tools people might use to accomplish a task like this. I know a bit of web programming as well, not very much though.

For all the articles I'm given information about the author, the year, the journal name, the volume and page numbers

ex. Author, Year Journal Name Volume, Page Smith, John et al 2005 Journal of Science 32:1022-1034
