How do I build a program that can go through a free online directory (e.g. Yellow Pages) and copy the data for a given search to and Excel file?

I have little to no programming experience. What language(s) should I learn (if any) in order to pull various data points for each search result from free online directories onto an Excel file. This is useful when the directory returns thousands of potentially relevant results and I want to screen through them myself.
