Website only works in internet explorer

I recently moved my website to new server running IIS web server. The new server has a SSL certificate. On the previous server the website worked in all browsers, as expected. On the new server, the website only displays in internet explorer. In all other browsers the html page downloads or tries to save instead of displaying.

Why is this happening? Is there a fix for this?
