This question is strongly related to politics, but it is technical as well. The question does not attempt to critique or to approve the U.N.'s desire to use censorship based on
technical backbone and enabling environment of our digital society.
as that is clearly out of the scope of this website, but rather on the following:
- what will be the exact rules in the protection of female website visitors that could put websites under censorship if not complying to them
- how can one gather information about such rule changes
- how to protect women against harassment
These seem to be several questions, but they can be grouped under a huge question:
If websites/apps allowing abuse to women of any kind, what is the definition of abuse, is abuse to men falling into this censorship, is there a way to make sure that this will not be used as a pretext to shut down normal sites and how to comply to them as in, what are the automatic ways or policies which could detect the presence of abuse or even better, forecast potential abuses and what is the way to cope with already existent abuses so that service providers can protect their users against abuse and themselves against censorship?
