Deleting default GoDaddy files and folders inside /public_html

Will there be any issues if I delete some of the not utilised default files and folders in GoDaddy's public_html folder?

I'm talking about:

1) empty /data folder

2) empty /cgi-bin folder

3) layout-styles.css file, presumably used in their default hello.html
