any one have experience with web hosting?

my brother pay my webhosting ( godaddy) with his account I have only the acces to the cpanel of my site n is that limited ? how can he move the domain name for he be mine 100% , i want be independent , am building a social network what's the best config of a serveur for the beginning thanks for help
