enabling click to call with google voice in evernote web. please assist

I am developing a facility contact database using evernote and plan to export my work into an HTML page that will serve as a portal for this purpose. It works well but despite my installation of the Google Voice Plugin -which incidentally works with most phone numbers housed in other pages, it WONT recognize phone numbers in evernote, and WONT recognize them in the HTML exported file I create. Its a shame as I'd score some serious props with my employer and save tons of man hours if I could get the darn thing to work. I CAN copy the phone number and pase it into the popup in the GC Dialer but it will not auto-highlight the phone numbers in my Evernote Web Page. Any tips I could use to manually encode these numbers to be recognized by Google Voice?
