Windows Or Linux ? Which is best for programming? [closed]

I have been a junior developer for 6 months,And most of the time when i start to learn something new it almost takes days to configure the settings in windows.(path errors , server errors , port errors , etc etc) . Will i get errors like this if im using a linux OS ,Or is it the same for all os , Which is best for programming ? Linux or Windows ?
