Uploaded files in hostinger goes to //

I am currently developing a website and i have the following problem:

I uploaded an html website on public_html folder on hostinger, it contains an index.html, images and css files. I made some changes, i deleted the previous files and uploaded the new ones.The problem is that when i open the url on the browser i see previous webpage.

I followed some advise ans i cleared cache , i tried again but it doesn't work.

Then, i noticed that when i type mywebsite.gr// instead of mywebsite.gr/ , i can see the changes. Old files does not exist in the public_html folder.

What can i do so my website open correctly when typing mywebsite.gr?

Please help!
