fabricjs canvas to svg

anyone have any idea why a curved text or any text with applied shape in fabric js does not include the path when saved as svg?

the situation is as follows:

Our team is developing a web app that uses fabricjs with text curve, circle text (text typed on a shape path), achieved that. we are now in the stage of saving the designs from the fabric canvas and we have. Problem is when we preview the saved designs to load it, the text does not have the shape applied. Any ideas? any help is very much appreciated. thank you
