My website is not showing after uploading files

I have uploaded files to my website with ftp, in the directory "www" but the website doesn't seem to pick the file index.html, it shows some other file which I don't want.

I logged into hosting, there is no cpanel, no nothing I want to install wordpress but I don't know where to start.Google did not help.

I need help figuring this out. The website homepage is not showing the files that I uploaded, it still shows it's previous file, which I don't know where it resides.
