Web application to search & archive meta-data

Can anyone recommend some open-source web-based server application that can be used to archive meta-data and perform searches on that data?

I have a stream of data that I need to archive, each data-set is comprised of a series of key=>value pairs which I can transform quite easily. I wish to store this in a DB and be able to search though the data on any given key. I am looking for an application that can easily ingest data-sets based on a description of the data (eg xml schema) and which provides a read-made browser accessible set of pages to search and display the data.

Ideally an application that works on a LAMP stack.
