Google Forms: they can be initiated/"writeable" from a website, but how about reading the results from a website?

Overall, I'm looking to create a website where a person is able to see the first level of information presented, but then needs to pass a little test to see each higher level of information (and ideally pass only once, meaning not have to retest coming back to the website each time).

Google Forms can handle user registration, but is this information then readable to a website, and how; or does that not work? Google forms can of course handle quiz questions, but then how would the results of the user passing be read by the website to determine content display, or is Google Forms simply not designed for this?

I'm not stuck on google forms ... if you know of something else that works should google forms not, please indicate. Also perhaps a cookie could be used fairly well to keep track of if they passed, at least from one browser which could satisfy most.
