Apache 2.4.23 stops working until restart of the service

Recently have upgraded to Apache 2.4.23 from 2.2. Apache works normal and suddenly stops accessing and the site goes down even though service is up and running from server. Issue continues until restart of the service. Apache works normal again post restart. No issues/errors observed in logs. Please suggest.
