Web Development Technique [on hold]

I am on my way to be a successful web developer.for the past 2 years I have worked on a lumen project guiding by a mentor.and I have a solid knowledge of PHP, javascript, Reactjs, HTML and basic knowledge of CSS and overall I am good at algorithms.my coding ability is excellent.But right now I am confused and I discovered that being able to code doesn't make you a developer.I think I missed the big picture, The overall architecture of the web, the design techniques, and the workflow.Any suggestion is helpful.
