facebook in-app browser links

So I have an app that has a sharing feature (the sharing directs the user to our website); when I share the link on facebook and open it using the Facebook app, it opens the link on the facebook in-app browser; normally when I navigate to the url, it should download a file (.vcf file), but the in-app browser opens the file instead of downloading. I thought I would add a button on the page to download the attachment, but it does the same thing, it opens a tab and opens the .vcf file on it. Someone has a solution to something like this? wish I could choose not to open the file on that crappy browser but I don't think that can be done
