Fireftp not connecting with hosting server

It's my first question on stack overflow. Iam using fireftp add-on on Firefox browser. Whenever i try to connect to my hosting server fireftp is giving error: unable to connect please try again. I have submitted all the informations correctly (host, username, password etc) I don't know what's the problem? Im a beginner in this. Any help would be appreciated thank you :)
